It is highly expected that Vincent MacAodh will be offered the role by US television executives who are currently vetting hundreds of Irish actors to star in the new programme. The Gweedore actor is favourite to play the part of the furry red monster as he already plays the lead in TG4's 'Elmo Anseo'. "
